What to Expect

The Evaluation Process

60-Yard Dash

Timed speed evaluation from a standing start. One of the most important measurables for any position.

Arm Strength & Accuracy

Position-specific throwing drills evaluated by our coaching staff with radar gun readings.

Fielding / Positional Drills

Live defensive reps at your primary position. Footwork, hands, and instincts are all assessed.

Live BP / Pitching

Hitters face live pitching. Pitchers throw off a mound with velocity tracked and mechanics evaluated.

Intangibles Assessment

Coachability, effort, and character are evaluated throughout the day — not just athletic tools.

Post-Tryout Feedback

Every player receives feedback from our staff. Selected players are contacted within 7 business days.

Before You Register

Eligibility & Requirements

Players must be between 13–17 years of age at time of tryout

Must be a current or recent travel ball participant

Bring your own equipment — bat, glove, cleats, and helmet

Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and warm-ups

Parent or guardian must be present for players under 16

Nomination from a coach or program is preferred but not required

Fill out the form to secure your spot at a USA Select evaluation event. Include a highlight video link if you have one — it helps our staff prepare.

After You Register

You'll receive a confirmation email with event details, directions, and a checklist of what to bring. Our staff will follow up within 48 hours.

Submitting a Video?

Upload your highlight reel to YouTube or Hudl and paste the link in the form below. Videos should be 3–5 minutes and show your best at-bats, pitching, or defensive plays.
